Kadolog helps you to create and manage your gift wish list and registries (Wedding, Birth, Christmas, Birthday ...) with full freedom. One of the formulas very used for births/weddings (the PREMIUM formula) we propose is to receive the amount of every gifts directly on your bank account to be able to buy yourself all the gifts. It is an “money pot” in which your guests participate. They give you the money to buy the gifts yourself where and when you want! But you can also use Kadolog to make a “wish list” where you indicate the price and potentially a store/online shop where to buy each gift. Your loved ones will be able to select an idea on your list of gifts and be sure to make you happy!
No, this is the advantage of Kadolog! You can add everything you want: kitchenware, honey moon, travel, diapers, babysitter, a weekend in a hot air balloon... Your imagination will be your limit. We have also a search engine with all gifts already added by other users...so you can get some ideas and add them in one click on your registry and adapt them if needed. Another option is to use our simple “add tool”: The Magic button, which will allow you to add gifts from any online shop (see Magic button below) and if you don't want to forget anything when creating your wedding/birth registry, check out our “example registry”. With all those tools, your registry will be created quickly! And you are free of course to add all your own ideas into it.
If you have not subscribed to the Premium, after 10 gift/donations bookings, your friends and relatives cannot access the registry anymore. You will no longer have access to your reserved gifts either. Once you've subscribed, everything will be accessible again. With Kadolog, you decide how to receive the gifts. By hand, via online payment, via bank transfer, by cheque (only available in some countries) or through your Paypal account (available for countries outside Belgium). If you choose several methods, your friends and relatives will have the choice.
The “free” option allows you to make your gift wish list and tell your loved ones everything needed to buy the right gift (ex: description, size, color, price and potentially a store or online shop where to find these gifts). Your friends and relatives will buy themselves the gift and bring them/send them to you.
The “PREMIUM” option is the possibility to receive the amounts of every gift on your bank account and to buy yourself the gifts.
There is no time limit in time for a list on Kadolog. You open it and close it yourself whenever you want.
Yes, absolutely., if you are outside Belgium When you create your list, you can include your Paypal account. Your benefactor will be invited to pay online. However, Paypal applies a commission. All relevant information are indicated on your list-building form.
Of course it is possible! You can put one (or more) gift idea (s) and everyone can Participate. You can choose to let your friends and relative participate for the amount of their choice or divide the entire amount in equal parts of 10, 15, 20... euros.
Example (for a birthday gift): You communicate the address of the registry to the participants. They will be able to participate to the gift (ex: via bank transfer or online payment) and indicate a message. You get all these messages that you put in an envelope to be offered on the day of the birthday. Very easy !
I create my wishlist on Kadolog
Kadolog will allow you to collect donations for your honeymoon and you can, if you wish, break down your trip into different parts to which your family can participate (eg hours of flight, a hotel night, an excursion…). Here is an example of what you can do for your honeymoon list.

To change the settings of the registry, you can go to "list Settings" in the menu to the left of your registry.
Be careful: it is not possible to use an old Premium list for another event – so a single registry cannot be used for multiple events (e.g. to use again an old wedding registry to create a birth registry or a first child's birth registry for the second child....). In this case, you need to create another registry. Be aware that your Premium lists remain open as long as you wish, there is no closing date, so you will always be able to receive gifts of the registry but after 12 months (from the date of Subscription), it will no longer be possible to change the parameters of the registries.
Yes, you will be able to manage indicators such as: "I received this gift", or "I thanked" in the tab "my gifts Received".
You will be warned as soon as a gift is booked on your list. Be aware that for gift with online payment method, you will be informed by mail only when the gift is paid. In addition, the "My Gifts received" tab will give you a complete view of all your booked gifts (paid and unpaid).
You can divide a gift into several parts, making sure to adjust the price of each share (a gift of 1500 euros can be , for example, divided into 3 “shares/parts” of 500 euros).
Yes, this is possible, if you select “free participation” for the gift (select “edit” below the gift). You decide on which gifts “free participation” can apply. Your loved ones will then choose how much they will participate on that gift.
Yes through the screen “manage my gifts”, you can hide the gifts. They will no longer appear in your list. You make them reappear whenever you want.
You can go to the registry and click on "edit" below the gift and then tick the box "show this gift as already offered”.
Go to your registry and select from the menu (on the left) "Manage Gifts". You'll get the list of gifts. You can make a “drag and drop” and change the order of the gifts in your list. Don't forget to save these changes.
Yes, it is possible. On Kadolog you put absolutely everything you want!
The different methods of receiving gifts
If you opt for online payment, your friends and relatives will be able to pay their gift directly on your Kadolog registry (Mastercard, VISA, Bancontact…). To do this, Kadolog will have previously opened a secure payment account, in your name, via our Lemonway banking partner. You will be able to repatriate the money received directly to your own bank account at any time.
When you create your registry, you enter your own account number (IBAN). It is this number that is transmitted to people who offer you a gift, by email. Your friends and relatives will then make a transfer to your account. You will receive the money on your account number directly.
Go to "List settings" and change your IBAN on the main screen.
Please send recent documents (less than 3 months) to prove your residence in Euro Zone: GSM invoice, electricity/gas/water bill are accepted. See list of documents accepted on the page: www.kadolog.com/wallet (“documents”). Most of the other documents will be refused (pay slip, insurance documents …). Please also ensure that the name of the account number holder (IBAN) is the same as that of the documents sent.
You can disable online payment at any time and choose another option to receive your gifts (by hand, via bank transfer, etc). To do this, go to the menu and click on "List Settings" and then "General Information", you will be able to select another method to receive your gifts/donations.
If you propose the online payment on your registry for your friends and relatives, all donations will be paid on your “wallet”. You will be able to manage and bring your payments at any time in one click on your own bank account via this page: www.kadolog.com/en/wallet
The confidentiality of my registry
Yes, it is possible. To do this go to the menu of your list "List settings " then tab "privacy". You will be able to add an “access password” to your list.

Receive gifts on my list
Sometimes some people book a gift and then decide to cancel it. In fact, your loved ones have the possibility to cancel their reservation for 7 days.
It is rare that this happens, but it is indeed possible. In this case you also have an option to send reminders (on behalf of Kadolog)
I want to offer gifts
The account number communicated for the transfer is that of the owner of the registry. If it is not correct, the best is to contact him via his list.
As donations are paid directly to the bank account of the owners of the registry, we cannot answer this question. If in doubt, you may contact the owner of the registry.
Enter the first or last name of one of the holders of the list (not both). Attention for particle names, please put quotation marks "xxx" (ex: "Van ilecs", "de Moreau"). If you can't find the registry through the search engine, the list may be hidden by its owners. In this case, you will need the direct link, probably indicated on the birth/wedding card.
Kadolog offers many possibilities to receive the gifts: in hand, in cash via a bank transfer, via an online payment... It is the owner of the registry who decides the method. If the chosen method does not suit you, you always have the possibility to communicate it to the owner of the list via the contact button "contact".
Kadolog is a platform allowing its users to create wish lists of gifts independently in the context of a birth, a wedding or any other event. As payments are made directly to the bank account of the owners of the lists (individuals), we will not be able to send you an invoice. You will still be able to print a “booking receipt” via the confirmation email you have received.
You will receive a confirmation email that will take over the modalities to materialize your gift. If you do not find the email, check in your junk mail/spams. If it is not there, contact Kadolog via the Contact form, specifying your name and the list on which the gift was reserved. We will send you the confirmation email as soon as possible.
Yes, if the person to who you would like to offer the gift has selected the online payment option when creating his/her gift registry.
If the payment has not yet been made, you can, via the link received in the confirmation email, cancel your booking to start a new one. If the payment has already been made, the easiest is to contact directly the person to whom you want to please, via his/her registry by clicking on the link "contact XXX (the owner of the registry".
In the confirmation email you have received, you have a link that allows you to cancel your reservation, if the online payment has not yet been made. Be careful, you have 7 days to cancel it yourself. If the payment has been made, you will have to contact the owner of the registry.
The Magic button may not work on some online shops. You will still be able to create the gift yourself (adding an image, a price and a description) on your registry and add a URL.
This is possible... Our magic tool is not foolproof. But you can change each of these information (price, description …) before you add the gift to your list.
When you are on an e-shop, and on the page of a product that pleases you; Click on the previously added button (“the kadolog magic bouton” on your toolbar) to your favorites. A blue frame surrounds the photo of the product that can be added. Then click on "Add to my Wishlist". There you go...
Our magic button works under Internet Explorer, but you may encounter some instability. We can only advise you to use another browser such as Firefox or Chrome.
To do this, click on "View" and select "Toolbar". Click on "Bookmarks Toolbar".
