We would love a really good outdoor grill to become the centre of summer lunches and dinners with friends and family. Contributions will eventually be repaid in grilled food and cold drinks! ;-)

One of the things we are most excited about is slowly filling our home with art that means something to us. Rather than choosing everything at once, we would like to discover pieces over time - and remember the people who helped us find them.

For wine over dinner, cocktails with friends and celebrations large and small. We’d love to build a collection of beautiful, well-made glassware that will become part of many happy evenings around our table.

Towards beautifully made cushions and wool throws in natural fibres, with a particular love for handwoven tweeds and wools from traditional Scottish Highland mills we've discovered on our travels. We hope to bring a few of these pieces into the chalet over time - adding warmth, texture and a little of the places we've loved along the way.

A collection of handmade plates and bowls that we can gradually build into a complete dinner service for family and friends.

Something that we perhaps wouldn't ordinarily book for ourselves - a wonderful day out, an extraordinary meal, a boat trip, a vineyard, a spa or whatever unexpected discovery we find along the way.

A contribution towards a beautiful hotel, waking up somewhere completely new together and taking our time over breakfast the next morning.
