De wijn krijgt een houtlagaring mee van 12 maanden in Franse eiken vaten. Hij is in het bezit van een rijk aroma met onder meer veldbloemen, zwoel exotisch-, boom- en steen- fruit, vanille, nootjes en een romerig botertje. De smaak is rijk in de mond. Fris en fruitig met smaken van tropisch en citrus fruit in de finale. De afdronk is lang en verrassend fris. Een lieveling voor de klassieke Bourgogne lefhebbers.

The creation of the 2013 vintage reveals the resonance between the pinots noirs and chardonnays, between acidity and fullbodied. The precise, elegant and tactile bouquet blooms in an extremely delicate powdery aromatic braid around three nuances: first citrus, then a more vegetal facet and lastly, spices.
This precision reveals a simple and evident elegance where the wine, after an ethereal attack, amplifies and blossoms before ceding to an ineffable sensation of clarity.

A wonderful aromatic complexity
Special Cuvée is the fruit of a precise blend of several harvest and above all of reserve wines, which lend the wine all its structure and make it a reference of the Bollinger style.
Special Cuvée is composed of over 85% Grand and Premier crus of the three main Champagne varieties: 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier. It is cellar aged for twice as long as required by appellation regulations. It is moderately dosed at between 7 and 8 grams per litre.
